| | Hubert A. Nelson (vocal & steel) and James D. Touchstone (guitar & harmonica). Among the oldest recorded electric steel guitar music (probably a Rickenbacker Frying Pan). The weeping of that instrument became an essential hallmark in C&W music. Hawaiian guitars became popular in the States when Hawaii became the 50th state of the nation (shortly before WW I). |
