| Henry Burr was a Canadian tenor in the pioneer years of recording history, tipified with sacharine sweet ballads. He was a member of the Peerless Quartet between 1906 and 1928 and recorded some 12.000 sides. That's more than anyone else in music history. Joel Whitburn ranks him n°1 over the first three decades of the 20th century in his compendium A Century Of Pop Music (Record Research).
